Maya Rodriguez Eyewitness NewsEmail: mrodriguez@wwltv | Twitter: @mrodriguezwwlJEFFERSON, La,Air Max 90. -- At Haydel's Bakery, almost everything begins and ends with flour."All of our commodities, including flour, have been rising slowly," said David Haydel, whose family has owned the bakery for several generations.Ingredients that are crucial to making their products and others could potentially be impacted by the low level of the Mississippi River. Up near Lake Providence, the situation is grim: there are 13 barges half-loaded with grain that can't get out, according to Louisiana Agriculture Commissioner Mike Strain."There's a quarter of a billion dollars in grain to be harvested in the Port of Lake Providence alone, and guess what? We can't move the barge," Strain said. "So, we'll bring in trucks. It will take 7,000 trucks. They don't exist.",Nike Air Max 24-7 (Men);In order to get through the lower river levels, some of the barges will have to take on smaller loads. That adds to shipping costs, which in turn could affect the prices consumers pay down the line."What does that do when you short load a barge? Who pays for that? The farmer," Strain said. ",www.nikeairdiscountshoes.com;Who ultimately pays for that? The consumer,Manolo Blahnik Boots. The consumer pays for that."Back at Haydel's Bakery, they say raising prices is the last thing they want to do. They have already been dealing with fuel surcharges for delivery of their ingredients. The lower river doesn't help matters."You really don't want to be raising prices if you don't have to," Haydel said. "But every time we've raised them, I've never seen them come down."One thing they would like to see go up: the river itself. However,Azzedine Alaia Boots, officials with the Mississippi Valley Division of the Army Corps of Engineers said the low river levels could last until October. ,Discount Tods;
