The Katakuris are a four-generation family of problems (grandfather, father and mother, children, and granddaughter, that narrates the film) who use the father's redundancy spend to buy a guesthouse in the country. Somehow, their guests ends up dead - by suicide, accident, or killing - and once they've got made the decision to save their particular business by burying the particular groups and concealing the deaths, they find themselves sucked into a headache of lies and also fear.
