Lorinda Grant is one of Australia's hottest young fashion designers tiffany blue nikes, but you won't bump into her at swanky industry parties or hip inner-city cocktail bars.

The 28-year-old knitwear designer spends most of her time in her Bendigo home-cum-workshop - an old chan luu sale, two-storey building that was once a boarding school.

Grant's clothes are not limited to traditional woollen garments such as cardigans and jumpers, though she does produce some clever interpretations of those.
